Just a friendly reminder, that I am not a doctor, nurse or research student. I am simply a mom to 3 boys and obsessed with this type of stuff. 

1. The Shettles Method (I tried this twice and it didn’t work for me…but it could work for you): Basically, it is believed that male sperm swim fast, but are weak. Female sperm are stronger, but a little slower. The goal here is to make the environment and timing just right for male or female sperm to win the race. Having sex closer to your ovulation date (supposively) increases your odds that the fast male sperm will win the race, getting yourself a baby boy. However, if you have sex 3-4 days before you ovulate, gives the girls a better chance to surviving and getting to the egg first.
2. Whelan Method: This contradicts everything that Shettles says. It basically says that the womens environent to have a boy is best a couple of days before ovulation…
